About Little Supernovas

We run Adventure Storytelling classes and holiday schools for babies to big kids and also perform original storytelling plays. Our stories are interactive as the participants are encouraged to join us in the adventure, and through this we develop dance and drama skills. We currently run regular classes in several London and Brighton nurseries, primary schools, community and youth centres and are always looking for new storytelling opportunities. Our aim is to bring adventure storytelling to children from all backgrounds and provide them with confidence and a chance to develop their communication and creativity skills in a fun environment.

About Brooke - Creative Director

Brooke
I have been working with Schools, pre-preps and nursery's for several years as a storyteller and drama teacher. I bring children’s awareness of their community and their environment to life working with them by using movement, music, props, action and their imagination in a fun and supportive drama storytelling session.

I am first aid trained, hold a CRB and am qualified to work as a storyteller with children. Little Supernovas is a limited company, registration number 7478299.

Water Giants

I have been engaged by JWT Worldwide to write the children's Storybook and Musical WATER GIANTS.

The spearhead of the Water Giants program is to use the concept of the Water Giants, five mystical childrens characters, to act as a vehicle to highlight the problem and change the behaviours that will lead to a decrease in child drowning. The brief was to develop an Asian influenced creation myth:-

The Water Giants concept will provide the basis for these deliverables:

PHASE 1
Storybook
Website
Musical
Training material collaterals

PHASE 2
Merchandise
Animated Film
Game

The musical will open in London in June 2013 and will provide the foundation for the Water Giant roll out in selective test sites across Asia.

Pupils from Highgate's Avenue Nursery and Pre Prep School recently performed an amateur version of Water Giants.

Projects & Friends

- LWS Community Theatre

Children Brooke produces childrens theatre shows on behalf of LWS community theatre. I stage two theatre shows a year, Summer Show and Christmas Pantomime. Performances take place at the LWS Community cafe Crystal Palace and schools. Please contact me if you would like to book one of our show's for your School.

"Will Little Red Riding Hood from Crystal Palace make her way through Crystal Palace Park, without being eaten up by the big bad wolf, to her Grandma's bling bling cottage?

Little meets lots of fun and unusual characters on her merry way, there's Dippy the dinosaur who looks after the parks lost property, and a very forgetful squirrel who can't remember his way out of the park's maze, and there's a very odd creature with a long gray tail, sharp yellow teeth and pointy ears that pretends he likes to play tennis...could it be the wolf?"
